Hi, I’m Lawson Bruen of Bruen Tea, Bruen Coffee and Bruen Honey. When I first began my digital journey, it started with Bruen Tea and this website. Since then, I have expanded into the three, separating them by content. So, who am I?

   Originally from Savannah, Georgia, USA and born in the late 1980s, I’ve spent most of my life fooling around with cameras, encyclopedias and various art forms. As for career choices, well, let’s just say I’ve tried a lot of them, from automotive mechanic, kitchen staff to retail. But  for the last decade or so, I’ve primarily worked on movie sets, working in the props department, bouncing around between Prop Assistant, Assistant Prop Master and Prop Master, though I’ll keep it to myself as to which position I prefer.

Occasionally, I’ve given speeches to colleges and universities about life in Hollywood, or balancing between the worlds of art and science, which later became my inspiration for creating video essays. And thanks to my wife, I’ve also become a substitute teacher at a local middle school, so when I’m not on set, or writing and editing, I’m typically in the classroom, filling in.
